We aim to close the mentoring gap and drive equity through quality mentoring relationships for young and older people. Potential is equally distributed; the opportunity is not. We activate a movement across sectors that are diverse and broad and seep into every aspect of daily life. We are connecting and fueling opportunities for young and older people everywhere they are from schools to workplaces and beyond.

Opportunities are not evenly dispersed. Whom you know and who is in your corner is a big factor in promoting healthy growth and opportunity. A quarter-century ago, New C.I.T.E.S was founded to broaden people's possibilities by establishing a mentoring field and movement and acting as the authoritative source for information on high-quality mentoring practices. Because of this, the number of people in formal mentoring relationships has increased by more than tenfold, from hundreds of thousands to millions in only a few short years.
